Eyepartner Introduces TED Broadcasting Network for TED Presenters
We have launched www.TEDBroadcasting.com! This network will serve as a unified site for previous and future speakers at TED conferences to continue spreading their message to the world. Hopeful presenters can hone their craft on this network as well.
We design our software to require nothing more than an off-the-shelf computer and video source or camera. The software is user-friendly and makes Live Streaming accessible to presenters without the need for expensive or proprietary broadcasting equipment. We hope to spread this message through continued seminars and broadcasts with these presenters so their ideas and visions are seen through to the end.
Inspirational and forward-thinking speakers are invited to present 18 minute presentations designed to spark the imagination of the audience and the world. Beginning in 2006 these presentations were made available online at www.TED.com and at www.YouTube.com and as of July 2010, have been viewed more than 290 million times.
“These speakers are an inspiration to their fields and to the world. Their message is much bigger than an 18 minute presentation,” says Tim Green, CEO of Eyepartner, “and we want to give these speakers the tools to continue reaching a global audience after the conference is over.”
Built on the TikiLIVE Broadcasting Platform, TED Broadcasting will serve as a gateway to previous TedTalks that can be sorted by year, presenter or category. Presenters who wish to participate can broadcast new presentations live or upload other content to be available as Video On Demand. Since the site is also a social network, non-presenters can chat with each other during live events, follow their favorite presenters so they stay up-to-date and watch all of the archived footage of previous conferences. And since the network easily links to Facebook, Twitter and MySpace, your content can reach people quickly and easily.
For more information about TED Broadcasting or to sign up to be a presenter, please contact:

Eyepartner Releases TikiLIVE IPTV for ROKU Set Top Boxes
MARATHON, FLORIDA, February 5, 2011.
Managing LIVE HD video delivery to set top boxes has been a challenge to media producers, broadcasting networks and corporations worldwide. Eyepartner has developed a low cost iPTV middleware that delivers HD Live, VOD, and Channel Lineups directly to the affordable ROKU set top box. TikiLIVE makes it easy for anyone to setup a channel and broadcast their stream in full HD, with a simple to use click-and-go interface. The user can quickly arrange a playlist of pre-recorded video as well as offer it on a pay per view basis.
The TikiLIVE iPTV platform, based on a patent pending streaming technology, requires no proprietary hardware or advanced training to use. This solution was designed to easily broadcast and deliver LIVE streaming, VODs, and channel lineups in HD “over the top” directly to the ROKU set top boxes as well as to your streaming sites simultaneously. The TikiLIVE platform is to be made available through direct marketing along with various OEM channel partners, distributors.
“Professionals, movie makers, broadcasters and enthusiast alike now have the ability to schedule content and broadcast their HD media directly into the living rooms of their audience through the ROKU set top box; quickly, easily and without purchasing proprietary hardware” as quoted by Tim Green, President of Eyepartner.
So, how does it work? Eyepartner offers a simple application with an easy to use dashboard that can be accessed from any Web Browser. The user is offered live broadcasting tools, VOD uploading capabilities to arrange playlists and publish channel lineups. All media is conveniently hosted and streamed from Eyepartner central server farms. The user may decide to publish a combination of LIVE, VOD or channel lineups. The user may set the content as free or on a pay per view basis. The stream is instantly streamed to a channel onto the ROKU set top box.
Eyepartner offers simple “how-to” tutorials that walk the user through the broadcasting process with simple step-by-step instructions. For more information on how this works, users may sign up www.tikilive.com for a free trial run of the TikiLIVE platform.

IPTV – The Future in Television!
Why is IPTV better than regular TV?
TV is great. It’s been around for years and we’re used to how it works. There is no denying that this is true. But IPTV is in many ways far superior than “normal” TV. In the following article we’ve highlighted a few of the advantages that IPTV can offer you, as the broadcaster, and your viewers.
IPTV offers the phenomenal image quality
Recently a lot of video quality comparisons have been made on different devices or services – specifically the quality from satellite, cable and DVB-T against IPTV. The results have been as we anticipated: The winner was declared to be IPTV! For example our TikiLIVE broadcaster called the HD Wave can deliver an amazing HD streaming experience to the audience in true 1080i or 1080p at up to 60 frames per second which is Blu-Ray quality!
You can instantly LIVE stream your video sources or upload the videos to be available as Video On Demand. A tutorial about how to get started with The HD Wave and to publish your content on the web can be found HERE.
Time Shifting
This feature has taken off recently with DVRs and TiVo, but in reality this is a core feature of IPTV and it was IPTV that made this possible! “Time Shifting” allows you to pause a program or stream and start it again. Recording and storing for later viewing is also possible. In television PVRs (Personal Video Recorder) and DVRs (Digital Video Recorder) or computers equipped with a TV capture card are used to time shift. All these make this function the most popular IPTV benefit of all.
Video On Demand
IPTV providers offer shows and movies to their audience so you don’t have to be the program director of a TV station to gain access to that content. IPTV providers also offer access to their own online video store. Some of them allow you to choose from thousands of titles to satisfy all of your customers’ tastes.
TikiLIVE IPTV solution is the place where users stream, record and transcode their content for later edit, using the TikiLIVE revolutionary broadcaster. Transcoding can be done in many formats so you can make your content available for Windows, Linux or Mac operating systems.
The Silverlight Uploader, recently updated by the TikiLIVE team allows you to easily publish videos into your account as Video On Demand. More information about the Silverlight Uploader can be found HERE.
Interactive Services
IPTV provides for a so-called “back channel”, which is essential for interactive applications. There are already some applications TikiLIVE works with to offer the end users what they want most, interactivity. For example you can use a set top box to browse TikiLIVE content. Just connect it to your TV via HDMI, component, composite, or S-video and then plug it to your sound system and you are ready to experience TV in stunning HD video and crystal-clear audio. The device will automatically scan and display the available channels.
IPTV Set Top Box Front Panel
IPTV Set Top Box Back Panel
The Roku box is compatible with our platform so you can view the channels and videos from TikiLIVE – in the future you will also have access to the Pay per View and subscription content.
TikiLIVE Channel on Roku
The set-top box itself is necessary for the TV signals to be transmitted over the DSL line via internet then converted back into a usable signal for the TV similarly as with satellite TV.

The internet and IPTV has empowered thousands of people each day to express themselves through the use of video. This opens up the possibility to make any kind of videos you would like. If you want to develop a following, you are going to have to put quality content in a place that has easy accessibility. TikiLIVE is your answer. Live Video Broadcasting Software
Live Video Broadcasting Software
Although user friendliness, reliability and bandwidth are important factors to consider when using live video broadcasting software, you also need to consider the features that come with it. These extra features can make or break video broadcasting software. Different companies and individuals are going to require different features. Knowing this, Eyepartner has developed programs such asTikiLIVE and The HD Wave Broadcaster which are loaded with features to accommodate the many different companies and individuals using video broadcasting software. This article will discuss some of the many features that accompany each type of software and explain how it will benefit you.
TikiLIVE: TikiLIVE is 100% turnkey and an “out of the box” ready platform that utilizes the best live video broadcasting software around. TikiLIVE allows users to upload, store and manage videos, channels and members to create video content for niche marketing. In addition to all these features users can customize and brand, a.k.a. “white label,” every aspect of their network.
In addition to live broadcasts users can simultaneously record them for use as Video On Demand. After the broadcast is over, you can save, view, edit or archive it for future viewing. Users can create multiple channels to accommodate multiple audiences and build interactive broadcasting network communities. Videos can be displayed in crystal clear High Definition or high quality Standard Definition. Users can also create schedules for shows and even set the videos into a timeline and have them play on a pseudo-live schedule just like real TV!
Moreover, social networking tools like chat, messaging, and blogging are built into TikiLIVE, allowing viewers to comment on video they see in real time. For clients who are interested in monetizing their media we have several options. You can set all content, either Live or Video On Demand as Pay Per View. If you are looking for advertising revenue, TikiLIVE offers both pre, mid and post-roll video ads as well as banner ads. Not into micro-managing? You can sell channels to other broadcasters and let them do the work while you collect a monthly fee for this service AND a ticket master fee for any Pay Per View events they hold!
The HD Wave Broadcaster: The HD Wave Broadcaster enables users to stream in High Definition or Standard Definition. In addition, users can stream tournaments, concerts, movies, demonstrations, product overviews and a variety of other live events. You can stream your live and recorded events to IPTV networks directly to Set Top Boxes (like a cable box) too! The HD Wave Broadcaster streams both HTML5 and Flash, allowing for optimal viewing for any device.
Great live video broadcasting software cannot function on features, user friendliness, reliability and bandwidth alone. These aspects must work together to provide users and their members with the best possible video broadcasting experience. With all of these things going on you should do your best to thoroughly research the software before you commit to it. We have a staff that is willing and able to help and you can always get us on the phone!

Live Streaming
Live streaming software is the wave of the future. With advancements in technology, a variety of streaming products bring the future into desktop computers, laptops and netbooks anywhere. These tools expand content management opportunities into the live streaming market, making it one of the fastest growing Internet industries.
Eyepartner offers professional live streaming software ideal for streaming all forms of digital content. In real-time, users can video conference, video chat, share movies, share music and connect with users across the world. The media that traditional developers broadcast over the radio, TV, cable and antenna becomes a valuable resource, a rich commodity, to be shared across the world with the aid of software that connects to a streamlined network of servers.
You don’t have to be a professional in the IT or video and audio business to run these applications. Eyepartner’s broadcasting solution has been designed to be both powerful as well as simple enough for anyone to manage. Eyepartner has developed a product called “The HD Wave” that runs on inexpensive off-the-shelf PC’s. It delivers crystal clear high-definition and hours of endless footage can be streamed and shared to an endless customer base on a 24-hour network.
Past web models emphasized content sharing as a one-way model. A producer shares the content; people consume and pass it along. The new model encourages people to actively participate in the content. Producers distribute content to consumers who now can participate in the process by uploading and storing their own content. For example utilizing off-the-shelf hardware, users create and upload their media to their own TikiLIVE network composed of as many channels as they desire. Working through an intuitive and elegant channel manager, TikiLIVE users can personalize their network to an astonishing degree. The HD Wave is the broadcaster allowing you to stream a live show up to 60 fps and using a wide range of video sources. The HD Wave does require a modern PC running a Windows Vista or Window7 Operating System. For information on computer requirements, please call or email me via the information below.
Using this revolutionary broadcaster you can record videos then transcode into multiple formats, making them accessible to Windows, Mac and Linux users across a variety of video playing platforms. The content then can be stored and archived to generate a continuous revenue stream in the same way that TV producers have long made money with off-network syndication. For more information about how to easily encode your video files please access this link:www.monsterencoder.com
Traditionally speaking, live streaming software has been about sharing content freely, and relying on advertisers to cover the costs. New software takes advantage of revenue streaming opportunities. The cost of bandwidth for high definition content changed the game, and revenue became a must. With these products, producers can make money from the content they manage in a variety of fresh ways. One of the core values behind the revenue generating approach is branding. Users create channels and then brand those channels around the content and customer base.
TikiLIVE offers both pre-roll video ads and pop-up image ads. Users can also monitor their audience by location and viewing habits for marketing or other purposes. Individuals and nonprofits can accept donations through TikiLIVE and choose to have them administered either by TikiLIVE or a trusted third-party merchant. All told, TikiLIVE represents an outstanding means to transform online broadcasting into a revenue source. See the following tutorial to understand how to monetize your content with TikiLIVE.
Using en vogue advertising approaches, the live streaming software offered by Eyepartner opens a multitude of revenue streaming opportunities to clients. The products include tools to use viral marketing, promote events and products and produce specific content for niche audiences. These models generate revenue and increase customer base while building a recognizable brand.
All of these services come with a sturdy backbone of administrator solutions. As executive producers, administrators can control every function of the operation like the CEO of a startup company. The menus and options are easy-to-understand and tailor to each producer’s specific needs. With a robust statistics management system, producers will be able to tailor their content to current users and untapped markets at the same time.

Affordable HD Broadcasting with TikiLIVE
Here in the Eyepartner office we have many computers, several of them acting as dedicated broadcasters 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They are evenly split between laptops and desktops; we have HP, IBM, Toshiba and Dell computers. It’s an assortment because we jump on great deals when we see them. We prove that you don’t have to spend a lot to be able to broadcast Live in High Definition.
With the introduction of our High Definition broadcaster, The HD Wave, we needed more processing power to be able to handle the strains of broadcasting in true HD. When you broadcast live, the video has to be encoded in real time from whatever file type the video is created in to Flash Video (FLV) in order to be broadcasted over the internet. In order to ensure Fidelity of a video, a quad-core processor is necessary, at a minimum.
A multi-core processor breaks the feed into as many streams as there are cores and then encodes all of the streams simultaneously. For example: a quad-core processor splits the feed four ways, a 6-Core splits the feed into six streams. To broadcast in HD, we recommend at least a quad-core processor. This reduces the chance of your video lagging, buffering or dropping frames.
Our latest purchases have been an HP Laptop and an HP Desktop that we picked up from Office Depot. Both were on sale for under $800. They both have Intel i7 Processors (quad core) with 4GB DDR3 SDRAM. These machines have enough power to run The HD Wave and broadcast live over the internet without breaking the bank.
The HD Wave Broadcaster
Multi-core processors have only recently become accessible to the average user. Quad-cores have only been on the mainstream market for two and a half years. As expected with computer technology, the prices have dropped significantly. Average prices in May of 2008 were well over $2,000 – today computers with those specs are $800 or less. As is the case, you can always find a $2,000 model. Current high end products feature 8-Core processors with 12GB RAM. These features are great options to have, but they are not necessary for today’s normal use.
When choosing a computer, you should look at the performance and functionality you are looking to achieve. Laptops are great if you want to be mobile, but you give up some performance. Desktops are faster with larger displays but are not easy to transport and cannot take much abuse. What sort of use to do have planned for the computer? If you plan on doing Live Broadcasts like us, are these broadcasts going to be from one location or will you be travelling to find your content? Whether you decide to get a laptop or a desktop.
With all of the choices it’s easy to choose indecision over action. Once you put your mind to it, you can get a computer capable of broadcasting in HD for under $800. Just 6 months ago these computers were over $1,200. Just make sure it has a Quad-Core processor or higher.

How to Use a Canon Vixia for Live HD Streaming
The following review offers you a quick and easy solution to the question: How can I do live streaming with a Canon Vixia series camcorder and have HD quality? Using our new HD Broadcaster, The HD Wave, together with the Intensity Pro capture card from Black Magic we are streaming in crystal clear HD. Buy the Black Magic Intensity Pro from Amazon.com.
In order to transmit both video and audio through a broadcasting computer, a broadcaster must connect a video source and an audio source to their broadcasting computer or Plug and Play Broadcaster. HD video sources will only be recognized by the The HD Wave and require a special HD capture card. It is recommended that the “HD Broadcaster” be used on a computer with at least a Quad Core Processor for proper results.
Here is a short list of capture cards that we have tested with our Network and their compatibilities:
